Transportation Hearings

We believe that sensible transit and healthy communities are linked. There’s word that Washington state’s Governor and Senate may be interested in a special session this November to pass a transportation revenue package.  We need you.

The Senate is hosting public hearings on transportation across the state, starting in Bellevue on September 17th.  It’s critical that supporters of transit, biking, walking and healthier communities make their voices heard at these hearings. We need to show them that we don’t want ANY transportation package, we want one that is balanced, transparent, and one that doesn’t roll back important environmental and labor policies.

Live in the Seattle area? Consider attending the following hearing:

Tuesday, September 17

6-9pm – WSDOT will present and then open it up to public comment

Stevenson Elementary – 14220 NE 8th St, Bellevue WA 98007

RSVP to a hearing>> Absolutely, I will be there to show support for a transportation package that includes transit, walking and biking.
