Safe Routes RFP Info Sessions

Want to get kids in your community biking and walking to school safely? The Washington State Department of Transportation will release a Request for Proposals in early 2016, making $19 million available for the 2017-19 biennium for Safe Routes to Schools.
We know that when children bike or walk to school, children are healthier and more engaged at school, and communities are safer.
Proposals will be accepted from public agencies such as a school district, school, city, county, or public health agency.
