Dear Lawmakers: GO RED.
According to the American Heart Association, heart disease is still the No.1 killer of women, taking the life of one in three women each year. It claims more lives than the next three causes of death combined, including all forms of cancer.
That’s why this Friday, February 3rd, AHA is urging us to celebrate National Wear Red Day and wear RED to raise crucial awareness of the fight against heart disease in women, their leading cause of death.
Here at the Childhood Obesity Prevention Coalition, we are very concerned with heart disease as a leading and serious result of obesity.
Take a minute with us and click here to invite your lawmakers to GO RED.
